Christmas Time

It's getting close to Christmas. I can't believe how quickly it is coming up. I love looking forward to short work weeks.

We had a great time at Ruthann and Dustin's Iowa reception Friday night. We have had fun having them at our house. Sadly the weather has been so freezing a lot has been postponed, but it's always a little fun to stay home for a whole day!

This week we get to go to DeWitt after work on Christmas Eve and spend a few days there with the whole family. We are so excited!

Busy Winter

Amos and I are enjoying our winter so far.... everything besides the unimaginable cold. I guess we have to expect this when we live in Iowa.

We had a fun, busy weekend. We finally got to spend time with friends. It doesn't seem we do that enough. We had a good time with the Heller's, Abby, and Becca. Then I got invited to go to Davenport the next morning. We got to meet and spend time with Uriah Gorman and his parents... plus I got to surprise my parents. They had no idea I would arrive at their back door. It was fun. I had a fun time with Becca and the Vinchattle girls.

We have another busy week. I have all my siblings coming to stay at our house this week because we are having Ruthann and Dustin's wedding reception this weekend. I am so excited to spend time with them. It should be busy and fun.
