Growing Belly

Well, time to blog about our pregnancy. We are almost halfway there and it has gone very well so far. The first trimester I felt really tired and a bit queasy at times, but nothing too bad. I talked myself out of if most of the time. My second trimester is going well. I am growing very quickly. I don't feel as tired and I don't feel sick. I'm kind of shocked how quickly I am growing though. I am reading that our baby grows so much during these next few weeks so I'm not too surprised. So if you are shocked how big I am and how big I will become, just look at the little space my baby has to grow. I can't even imagine how big I will be in a couple of months. It's all worth it though!

We had our ultrasound this week and it was just wonderful. I just couldn't believe how quickly our baby was on the screen. I don't think it really hit us until we saw our precious baby moving inside me. He/she was so sweet, a little alien looking, but so sweet. It just made me so excited to meet our baby. So now we wait for 4 more months. It sure is going quickly!

Sister Book

I made this book for my sisters this Christmas.... mostly because I am sentimental and this year has and will bring a lot of changes to our lives. I love my sisters. :)

Happy New Year!

Hello 2009!

I can't believe it is alreay here. This will be a year of hopeful fun changes. Amos and I are so excited to see all that will happen- including the birth of our first baby in June. We are excited for the last few months we have together, alone. We look forward to getting our nursery and home prepared for our family addition. We had a great 2008 but look forward to what's next.

We had a great New Year's Eve- and probably the last for a while of staying up so late. I can't say we have stayed up until 5 in the morning for many, many years. I couldn't stay awake towards the end but it was worth it. It was fun to spend time with friends and be entertained by the "rock band" that was being played all night. Here is a clip of Amos singing- a little high for his normal singing voice, but funny anyway.
