I am posting almost a week later, but we had a great busy weekend. I'm tired so this won't be long... but here are a couple of pictures from last weekend. It was a blast to have John and Laura back and the Lowe's.

DeWitt and Valentine's Day

I have had some good weekends lately. Two weeks ago I was able to "work" by driving a Lexus to the Quad Cities then was able to stay with my family for the weekend. Not too bad while on the job. I got to watch Ryan play a basketball game. I love watching him play. Not only is he a great athlete, he is the least selfish player. I love his character and sportsmanship.





This past weekend Amos surprised me with a romantic weekend get-away. We realized we won't be able to do much more of the spontanous things, so we'll enjoy it while we can. We ate at a Latin King in Des Moines which was really good. We also stayed in a suite with a hot tub and everything. It was the same place we had our first two nights of our honeymooon, so it was special. We had so much fun, and relaxed a lot!

So I am having fun with this, while bored at work. They somehow combine our faces and create what our child could possily look like. I'm just not sure.... I know this sounds horrible, but I pray our baby looks a bit better than these pictures. Is that bad? :)

Fun Picniking.....

Amos and I had a fun weekend. One of these days we are going to have to grow up and do adult things, but for now we are enjoying our time together and with friends. We spent some quality time together in front of our fireplace Friday night and enjoyed a fun weekend in Des Moines baby registering and spending time with friends. Sunday was the fun superbowl party, which I actually enjoyed the last quarter. Now it's getting close to another weekend!

I was super excited about getting a couple free diapers from our registries. So cute! I can't believe our baby will be that small...
