Christmas in Colorado

We had a wonderful time vacationing in Denver. My sister Rebekah and her husband Matt were kind enough to let us stay in their apartment while in Colorado.

We had so much fun spending quality time with the family. I tried snowboarding which wasn't fun at all. Amos had several days to snowboard without me holding him back. :)

We got to celebrate Dad's birthday, go bowling, to a movie, spend nights playing games and laughing our heads off, hang out in downtown Denver, then celebrate Christmas together.

It was a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

I have way too many pictures to post on my blog so here is the website to look through more pictures.

Vacation in Colorado!

Amos and I are having a blast in Colorado right now. Sadly I'm not able to put up pictures yet because I can't use my laptop. I will post some as soon as possible.

We have had a blast so far! We are staying in Rebekah and Matt's apartment with their adorable black lab puppy. They have been very hospitable. Rebekah is finally off her night shift hours so we can spend more time together.

I did something yesterday for the first time- snowboarded! It was horrible!! Amos is such an amazing teacher who stuck with me the whole time. He's amazing. I just couldn't get the hang of it and didn't enjoy it too much. I ended up throwing up from exhaustion or something afterwards. Anyway, today I can barley move. What a work out! The mountains sure are different than the hills in Minnesota or Iowa. I had a great time with Amos though and that's all that matters! :)

Our parents are coming to Colorado this Friday so we're looking forward to that.

We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas. Pics are coming soon I hope! :)

Cowboy,Mullet,and Flat-Top!

Amos has been growing out his beard and hair for quite a while now. He vowed not to cut it until the apartment for Ruthann was done. Well, I couldn't stand it anymore. We have a double-wedding this weekend then we are headed to Colorado for vacation so he needed to be cleaned up. We had a good time being creative while cutting off his hair.
I'm happy to see my husband's good-looking face again!
