Back to normal...for right now..

It is nice to be home after a fun and very busy last week. We had a great time with the Jizmejian family last week. Besides piles of cheerios all over our house, it went well. The cousins got along well for the most part. We kept busy.. we had to.. or the kids would go too stir-crazy. :) Ruthann and I took the kids to our parent's house last Friday ( after eating at Chick-Fil-A of course ). Matt and Rebekah were the speakers at Dad's church's youth conference. They did a great job. I was so impressed with the gifts they both are blessed with. I couldn't do it for sure!

It was pretty chaotic with 6 kids and trying to find places for them all to sleep. We had to be flexible...and laugh a lot. :) Aaron got sick so I was home with him a lot.Overall, we had a great time as usual. I love my siblings, brother-in-laws, parents, nephews, and sweet niece so much.

I am home for a few days trying to get Aaron better before I leave for a long weekend away. Ruthann, Cosette, Mom, and I are going to Arkansas for a good friend's wedding. It will be the longest time I have been away from my boys.... sad... I'm trying not to get too emotional about it.

Next week Amos is going to sand and stain my living room and dining room floors. I am so excited. No more random splinters for us and our guests!
